The GDS-Academy provides leading-edge learning and development services to catalyse a regenerative future and deliver positive social impact through tourism and events. By leveraging the GDS regenerative frameworks, expert faculty and enabling collaboration the GDS-Academy will develop professionals with the right mindsets, skillsets and toolsets to build capacity within the destination and the events and tourism industries.
2. Terms Explained
GDS-Academy maintains this website, any courses and masterclasses offered and other linked and related sites for the use of its customers, vendors, students, and other Site users upon agreement to the following terms. Please read the terms carefully before using the Site. Use of this website indicates acceptance of these “Terms of Use” and forms a binding agreement between you and the GDS-Movement. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use this Site. The materials contained in this Site are protected by applicable copyright and trademark law.
3. Terms of Use
GDS-Academy provides various materials, information, quizzes, tests, homework exercises, reading and listening materials and other information on this and related to Certificate and Masterclasses offered though this site. The GDS-Movement authorizes each User to view and download one copy of the Materials. Materials may be downloaded and a maximum of one copy of the Materials may be printed provided that Users make no modifications to the Materials and you retain all copyright and other proprietary notices contained in the original Materials on any copies of the Materials.
Users may not modify the Materials at this Site in any way or reproduce, share or distribute them. Users will keep all Materials confidential, and will not sell, auction, loan, rent, give away, describe, summarize, or otherwise reveal the Materials or their contents, to any other person or entity. Any breach of these Terms of Use automatically terminates your authorized use of the Site, and should financial losses incur as a result the User will be held financially liable.

Gubi Consulting SL is the owner, contracting and delivery partner of the GDS-Movement and all its sub-brands including but not limited to the GDS-Academy, GDS-Forum and GDS-Index. The GDS-Academy courses and all GDS-Movement content are trademarks and services of GuBi Consulting SL and education partners. The Materials on this Site are copyrighted, and any unauthorised use and any Materials on this Site may violate copyright, trademark, and other laws. The definition of content includes all GDS methodologies, the GDS-Index, procedures, management tools, workshops, manuals, software packages, databases, questionnaires, designs, ideas, inventions, expertise, commercial methods, analysis methods, evaluation methodologies, evaluation results and all intellectual property right over said content.

In no event will GDS-Movement, its suppliers, or other third parties mentioned at this Site be liable for any damages whatsoever (including, without limitation, those resulting from lower exam scores, interruption of services or inaccurate information) arising out of the use, inability to use, or the results of the use of this Site, any websites liked to this Site, or the Materials or information contained at any or all such sites, whether based on warranty, contract, tort or any other legal theory and whether or not advised of the possibility of such damages. If your use of the Materials or information from this Site results in the need for servicing, repair or correction of equipment or data, you assume all costs thereof.

11. Cancelation Policy
CERTIFICATE – 30 days full cancelation policy from the start of the Certificate Course. No refunds after this date.
MASTERCLASS (open enrolment) - 7 days full cancelation polity from the start of the open enrolment Masterclass. No refunds after this date.
IN HOUSE courses - No refunds are available once the in-house programmes have been confirmed and paid for. Dates can be changed subject to mutual agreement

What information do we collect and what do we do with it?
When you enrol as a User on our site, related courses, as part of the enrolling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name and email address. We may send you emails about our site and related course(s), registration, course content, your course progress or other updates. We may also use your email to inform you about changes to the course, survey you about your usage, or collect your opinion. Who is the controller of your personal data?
The GDS-Movement (GUBI CONSULTING SL) is the CONTROLLER of the USER’s personal data and informs him/her that these data shall be processed in accordance with the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April (GDPR) and the Organic Law 3/2018 of 5 December (LOPDGDD).
How do you get my consent?
When registering to become a User on our site, you also tick the box and confirm that you agree with our Customer Privacy Policy This policy applies to all registered Users.

Disclosure

Thinkific
Our course and site is hosted by Thinkific Labs Inc. (“Thinkific”). They provide us with the online course creation platform that allow us to provide our product/services to you.
Your data is stored through Thinkific’s data storage, databases and the general Thinkific application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.
Payment
If you make a purchase on our site, we use a third party payment processor Stripe. Payments are encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction.
All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our site and related courses and its service providers.
